Legal Documentation
The seven documents that govern your relationship with Ultimo, each with a line on what it actually covers so you can find the one that answers your question. Three are marked read first — those are the ones worth your time before you fund an account. Nothing here is behind a request or a login.
Client Agreement
Read firstThe contract between you and Ultimo. What we undertake to do, what you agree to, how an account is opened, suspended and closed, the terms on which orders are accepted, and (section 18) how client money is held in segregated accounts.
Risk Disclosure Policy
Read firstWhat can go wrong and how. Leverage cutting both ways, gapping markets, margin closeout, and why losses on margin can exceed the sum you first deposited.
Also readable as a page, word for word.
Best Execution — Trade Policy
Read firstHow we handle your order once you press the button: which venues we route to, what we weigh besides price, and how execution quality is monitored.
Customer Complaint Policy
How to complain, what happens next, the period within which we must answer, and how to take it to the Financial Services Commission if our answer does not satisfy you.
Privacy Policy
What personal data we hold, why we are allowed to hold it, how long it is kept, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it.
Also readable as a page, word for word.
Conflicts of Interest Policy
Where our interests could diverge from yours — how we are paid, our relationships with liquidity and introducing partners — and the controls that keep those from affecting your account.
Client Interest Protection Principles
How we undertake to deal with you: fair treatment, disclosure, awareness of risk, fraud protection, confidentiality, complaints, outsourcing and conflicts, plus a staff code of conduct including thirty days' notice of changes to terms. (Segregation of client money is in section 18 of the Client Agreement, not here.)
Also readable as a page, word for word.
How this site uses your browser is covered separately, in plain HTML rather than a PDF, on the cookie policy page.
If a document does not answer your question, ask us — you get a reference number and a written answer, not a phone call you cannot refer back to later.
