What is Bond CFD Trading?
A bond CFD tracks the price of a government or corporate bond without you buying the bond itself. Bond prices move inversely to yields: when interest-rate expectations rise, bond prices fall, and a short bond CFD gains — which makes bond CFDs the most direct way to trade a central-bank decision or an inflation surprise from a retail account. Long-dated bonds move more than short-dated ones for the same change in yields, so a 30-year contract is a different instrument from a 2-year one. Our Eurobond CFDs are offered without leverage: you post the full value of the position as margin, which removes the possibility of a margin call on a bond trade and suits the way most clients use them — as a hedge or a rate view held for days or weeks rather than minutes. Every symbol, with its contract size, minimum order and financing, is on the contract specifications page.

Trade the rate decision, not a proxy for it
Currencies and gold react to interest rates; bonds are interest rates. A view on the Fed, the ECB or an emerging-market issuer can be expressed in the instrument that prices it directly.
Short a bond in one click
Outside the CFD market, profiting from a fall in bond prices means borrowing bonds. Here it is a sell order, with the same stops, limits and position sizing as any other trade.
Full-margin Eurobonds, by design
No leverage on Eurobond CFDs means no forced liquidation on a yield spike. What you put up is what you can lose, and the position stays open until you close it.
