Download MetaTrader 5.
One platform, every device. Your Ultimo Securities login works on all of them at once — positions live on the server, not on the phone.
Server to log in to
The server name is in the email that carried your account login. Type it exactly, including the hyphen.
Downloads come from MetaQuotes, the platform’s developer, or the official app stores — we do not host installers ourselves.
Logging in, in four steps
1. Install and open MetaTrader 5
On a phone, install from the App Store or Google Play — never from a link in a message. On a computer, run the installer and let it finish; it opens the terminal at the end.
2. File → Login to Trade Account (phone: Settings → New Account → Login to an existing account)
Search for the server by name. If it is not in the list, type the name exactly as it appears in your account email and press Enter; the app fetches it.
3. Enter your login and password
Your login is the number in your account email; the password is the one you set or were issued. The "investor" password is read-only — use it to show someone your account without letting them trade.
4. Check the connection bar
Bottom right of the terminal: green bars and a number in kb/s mean you are connected. "Invalid account" means login or server is wrong; "No connection" means the server name is.
Questions people actually ask
- Which one should I use — MetaTrader 4 or 5?
- MetaTrader 5. Ultimo Securities runs on MT5 only; an MT4 app will not find our server.
- The app asks for a broker or server and cannot find Ultimo.
- Type the full server name from your account email rather than searching for "Ultimo". Server lists are cached by MetaQuotes and a new broker can take a while to appear in search; typing the exact name always works.
- Can I log in on two devices at once?
- Yes. The same login works on your phone, your computer and the web terminal at the same time; positions and history are on the server, not the device.
- Is the web terminal the same account?
- Yes — open the web terminal, pick the server, and log in with the same details. It is convenient on a machine that is not yours, but pending orders and trailing stops set in the desktop terminal behave differently: read the article on order types before relying on them.
- I forgot my password.
- Reset it from the client portal under Security, or ask support. We never ask for your password by email or phone.
